The buyer needed an OEM gaming headset manufacturer that could turn a Black Flag pirate-theme creative package into a manufacturable triple-mode gaming headset while keeping wireless performance, CMF consistency, packaging execution, and production quality under control. Source materials defined the Black Flag model for France-market OEM use, with target markets including France, Germany, the UK, the USA, and other regions. The product direction included 2.4G wireless, Bluetooth 5.4, 3.5mm analog audio, low latency, detachable unidirectional microphone, 50mm speaker direction, 800mAh protected battery, Type-C charging, Type-C to 3.5mm braided audio cable, USB to Type-C braided charging cable, custom transmitter, logo work, packaging work, and CE, FCC, UKCA, and RoHS planning requirements. The visual challenge was not only to add a logo, but to translate a pirate-themed identity into repeatable materials: Pantone 1545C sword-stroke and scratch effects, old damaged leather texture, black leather, blue leather, silver markings, deep silicone engraving, Pantone Black 6C, Pantone 447C, Pantone 4276C, and debossing details. Engineering challenges recorded in the source card included RF stability, antenna, weight, battery, microphone, mold, and cost.

How MACH Supported The Project

MACH Industry treated the Black Flag headset as a combined CMF, RF, accessory, packaging, and production-readiness project. The product specification confirmed a 2.4G dual-mode Jieli platform direction, JL7018M headset chip, JL7018M plus PA transmitter chip, XT4056 plus NTC charging chip, LP5300 over-voltage and over-current protection, 800mAh battery with protection board and NTC, 50mm 16-ohm speaker direction, unidirectional 6027 microphone, Type-C port, 3.5mm analog audio input with left and right channels and microphone, charging current up to 450mA, charging time around 2 hours, working distance over 10 meters, 2.4G latency around 20ms, transmitter power consumption around 25mA, and automatic shutdown after 5 minutes without use. The technology specification also recorded 2.4G plus Bluetooth 5.4 planning, Windows, PlayStation, Switch, Android, and iOS compatibility planning, play-while-charging support, detachable microphone support, and remote upgrade support. For production execution, MACH coordinated industrial design, structure, PCB, RF, acoustic, tooling, QC, and mass production support. The assembly SOP covered microphone boom assembly, transmitter assembly, headband wire routing, sliding cover and decorative part fixing, aluminum fork assembly, cover assembly, PCB fixing, 2.4G board soldering, speaker soldering, finished product assembly, and line-level work instructions. The packaging SOP covered finished listening test, appearance inspection, transparent label application, retail box preparation, box loading, seal labeling, and carton packing.
